Week 3 (Question of the Week) – What is Your Big Dream?

This week God has instructed us to dream BIG. Specifically He has directed us to:

1. Identify and define the dreams He has placed in our hearts.

2. Write those dreams down in our books or in a separate journal.

3. Pursue dreams that we assumed were dead.

I dream to have my next book published by one of the big publishing houses. For some reason Harvest House sticks out, but however God wants to do it is fine with me. 🙂

CeCe (who posted a comment on the blog today) dreams of opening a multi-location daycare facility. Right now she runs a wonderful center out of her home.

What is your dream? Don’t be shy. There’s something about sharing a dream with others…it’s like a shift happens and we give God permission to show up and demonstrate His power in our lives for all to see.

I am excited for what God is about to do in your life!

  1. Karen Ward

My dreams are to be financially free forever and have multiple streams of income (Speaking career, writing books, tv and radio career, etc.) while maintaining a successful marriage and family life.

  2. My dream and passion is to counsel girls who have been sexually abused and neglected. I want to open up a center that would help them with their self-esteem, for those just like myself who barely graduated from high school to help them get a trade and for those who dropped out of high school to help them get their GED then a trade that would help them get a job in the real world. That is just one of my BIG dreams.

    • I have heard you speak about this dream and the passion you have for that population. I look forward to hearing how God fulfills this promise.

  3. I would like to say that sometime we have this dream for our life, and because it doesn’t happen in a month or even a year, we stop dreaming. We may “decree and delcare it”, “name it and claim it”, have so much zeal and excitement, but because it doesn’t happen in OUR timing (not God’s), we forget about it or just believe it won’t happen. As long as we are BELIEVE that it’s going to happen, God is working in our favor, but once we stop dreaming…… God stops working…….waits for us to get back on track…….. and then he starts working once again on our behalf. Also, sometime you have to keep your dreams to yourself, cause everbody doesn’t have the faith that you have and they may discouarge you, cause God can put some things in our spirit that just won’t make no sense to nobody, but He is ABLE, and He WILL do it. Can I get an Amen!!!!!
