Will You Keep It?

Here’s the million dollar question. Will you continue to surrender the thing you gave over to God during Cycle 6?

I didn’t make this public–because I wasn’t sure how it would sound– but for Cycle 6 I surrendered my body to my husband. It’s not what you think. LOL. In fact, it wasn’t what I thought. But as we fasted God showed me what surrendering my body REALLY looked like.

When I wanted to speak negatively towards Andel the Holy Spirit would instruct me to remain silent. So I learned to surrender my mouth.

At the end of the day when the kids were tucked away and I wanted to retreat for a little HGTV the Holy Spirit would instruct me to have “couch time”. So I surrendered my body once again.

Couch time as coined by Carolyn Tatem, author of Marriage from A to Z is “taking time out of your day to sit on the couch next to each other to connect and communicate.” Up until Cycle 6 I had resisted couch time but now I can truly say I love it!

So long story short, YES, I’m going to “keep” my surrender and continue to surrender my body to my husband.

How about you? Will you keep surrendering what you gave up during Cycle 6? Why or why not? Please respond below.

With God all things are possible,
Dr. Celeste

We would love to hear your praise report. Please submit to testimony@surrenderfast.com

Wow, Dr. Celeste! Thank you for your transparency! So inspirational!

Yes, I will keep my ” surrendered diet” of eliminating concentrated sweets (white flour baked goods, products made with a predominance of table sugar/high fructose corn syrup, candies etc.) It’s been almost a year of this and I don’t even miss those “sweets”!

    • You go Gayle! 🙂 I feel the same way. I will continue my no desserts surrender for 2014 too! Our bodies are worth it.
