What are you up to?

Happy New Year Surrender Fast Family!

Typically, this time of the year we would be fasting together. But as you know, the next cycle of fasting won’t occur until March 2014. Don’t forget to REGISTER.

So with that said, what are you up to?

As for me, I am participating in a fast with the Queen Esther Ministry of First Baptist of Glenarden. We are completing “30 Days to Taming Your Tongue” by Deborah Peques. Excellent read; I highly recommend it.

In addition, I’m participating in their prayer calls, M-F, 5:00 – 5:15am. Here’s the information if you are interested:

Dial in number: 712-432-0075Access code: 207311

Again, please let me know what you are up to by posting below. I look forward to hearing from you!

With God all things are possible,
Dr. Celeste

  1. Hi Dr. Celeste,
I too am participating in the Collaborative New Year’s Fast of led by FBCG’s Queen Esther and Focus Studies Ministries. For the physical aspects of the fast, I am referencing the Ultimate Daniel Fast by Kristen Feola. The BEST is yet to come!

    • Hi Gayle! Great to hear that you are also taming the tongue. LOL. Are you following the “no sweets, no meats, no tv” regiment that Queen Esther outlined or doing the Daniel Fast?

      • Oh yes I am. There wasn’t a need for me to fast from TV because that would not be a scarifice for me (because I don’t watch TV). As for the sweets….I just continued with the previous year-long no sweets fast.

  2. I, too, have continued my sweets fast and my body is thanking me for it! 🙂 I will just have sweets on special days like Mother’s Day or my birthday.
