Hello Surrender Fasters,
When I was a teenager I loved to listen to a recording of Carlton Pearson telling the story of his encounters with a little ole church mother named Mother Sherman. He stated that in between Sundays she would ask, “You yet holding on?” as if he would backslide between Sundays!
Well considering we’ve just entered the most challenging time of the fast, I need to play Mother Sherman and ask, “You yet holding on?”
I pray the answer is YES.
But just in case you are on the verge of giving up, here’s a little encouragement from my Facebook post.
Day 21 – Personal Reflection
I am meditating on Ps 102:13, “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” (NIV)
In the year of double I truly believe that we’re walking in the “fullness of time.” But you must show the Lord your faith. I don’t care how outrageous the request like Mary said, “whatever He tells you to do, Do It.” Indeed, your faith is making you whole, and your faith is making the impossible, possible! #61days #theappointedtime
Day 22 – Dust Off Your Dreams
In prayer about which to dust off, lol, because I’ve learned, especially this year, it’s all about timing! I don’t know about you, but I no longer desire to work against the grain but be in God’s perfect will. Because when the fullness of time has come…watch out now! #day22 #promisekeeper
Keep on surrendering!
With God all things are possible,
