The 30 Day Green Smoothie Challenge

30-Day-Challenge-Header

Hey Guys the word for the day is GREEN. The 30 Day GREEN Smoothie Challenge to be exact!

Dr. Celeste Owens Ministries (DCOM) is so excited about this challenge that we want to extend it past the Surrender Your Diet Mastermind Facebook Group and encourage any and every one of you to jump on board with us and the Young and Raw Community for this easy and extremely beneficial challenge.

I know when some of you think of green smoothies your instant reaction is Yuck! Kale, spinach, collards, celery, cilantro, cucumber…how can that be easy?

I’ll tell you how:

  1. For this challenge you aren’t replacing a meal you are simply adding a green smoothie to your already existing regimen.
  2. These green smoothies aren’t vegetable-only drinks but include fruits like bananas, pineapples, mango, strawberries and blueberries which mask the taste of the vegetables thus, giving you a rather enjoyable experience.
  3. The benefits you’ll reap in the next 30 days will be well worth it! Your body, skin, nails and hair will thank you for it.

Now, let’s review the benefits.
Green Smoothie Benefits:

  • Weight Loss – Adding more fruits and vegetables to your daily regimen, gives your body the boost that it needs to shed additional fat and water accumulated from toxin build up.
  • Increased Energy – Can’t seem to get enough bounce in your step to conquer the day? Adding a green smoothie to the equation will reap in a hefty amount of energy.
  • Mental Clarity – Processed white flour and sugar, including junk foods can block our minds making our brains feel foggy. Drinking green smoothies will increase brain function and creativity.
  • Healthier Skin – Excess oil, acne, and blotchy skin is due to an imbalance in the body. Incorporating a green smoothie into your diet will allow the body to release toxins correctly giving you a clearer, glowing complexion; as well as reducing wrinkles, making you look younger
  • Stronger Hair and Nails – Your hair and nails are made up of cells, and if those cells don’t get all the nutrients that they need, then your hair will experience excess breakage and your nails will be brittle. By getting in a green smoothie, you will get you the vitamins, minerals, and hydration that your hair and nails need for growth and strength.

In addition you’ll notice an improvement in your immune system, a change in digestion, as well as a decrease in random snacking.

So, are you ready to experience what 30 days of Green can do for you?! Then here’s the Link to get you started. Let’s get healthy, one green smoothie at a time!

  1. The Healthy Orange Julius is to date my favorite of all the Green Smoothies so far! Could it be that despite the fact that it was not orange in appearance the unmistakable light citrus flavor was readily recognized by my taste buds? YES!😃 Yes, I enjoyed all of the antioxidant power too that stemmed from the lime and the orange. Delicious!

    • Gayle I like this challenge because it’s challenging me to combine flavor profiles I hadn’t considered in the past. I am having a lot of fun with this challenge.
