Week 2 – The Most Important Divine Connections

Welcome to Week 2 of the Surrender Fast!

This week as we press forward with our theme “Divine Connections” God is reminding us that no other connections matter more than being connected to Him, His Son, and the Holy Spirit.

One lesson we learned today on the Morning Prayer Call is that when we are fully connected to God in a Finished Place, He opposes our enemies and moves them out of the way. A chapter from Moses’ life confirms this truth.

In Numbers 12:1-16, Moses is being challenged and talked about by his brother and sister who were also part of his leadership team. Thankfully God had Moses’ back and all he had to do was move out of the way while God handled it.

How do you get to the point where God is bulldozing your opposition? I’m glad you asked.

1. You must be surrendered and humble (v. 3)

2. Let God fight your battle (v. 4)

3. Pray for your opposition (v. 11)

Moses did all of those steps, God became His mouthpiece, struck Miriam with leprosy and left her outside the camp for an entire week.

Won’t He do it?!

So I don’t care what you are up against–people in on your leadership team talking about you, doctors giving you a negative prognosis, the boss blocking your promotion–if God be for you who can be against you!

You are in a Finished Place and before you know it, through surrender, you will go from the finish of a thing, to the start of another.

With God all things are possible,
Dr. Celeste

Tomorrow we’ll talk about the importance of being fully connected to Jesus, and on Thursday we’ll talk about the importance of a full connection with the Holy Spirit.
