The God Who Divinely Connects the Dots

Welcome to Week 3 of Cycle 9 of the Surrender Fast! Theme #DivineConnections.

On the Morning Prayer call I shared the story of how I lived through a paint job gone wrong. I had carefully planned the colors for my home but last minute decision to change one of the colors at the paint store left me with  regret so overwhelming that the night of the mistake I went to bed at 8pm with my clothes on! I pulled the covers over my head hoping to sleep through the mistake.

However the next day I made the decision to believe it could out for my good and it did. Surprisingly, my “mistake” colors worked perfectly with the colors I had chosen from the beginning.

That’s what God can do for us lives; He can turn our mistakes around for our good (Romans 8:28). Nothing comes as a surprise to Him and believe it or not, He has made provisions for every bad decision you’ll make. In fact, He is the God of compensation and He will give you beauty for ashes as you move from this Finished Place.

So I am encouraging you today to trust that God can divinely connect the dots of all of our decisions to weave a beautiful life that glorifies Him–mistakes and all.

With God all things are possible,
Dr. Celeste

P.S. Pictures #1 and #3 show the colors that I loss sleep over. LOL
