God’s Glory

Hello fellow Surrender Fasters!!!

I just wanted to encourage you today and let you know that “The battle is not yours, but it’s the Lord’s.”

The hardest part is over.

It’s takes a willing heart to releases the reigns of your life, all you’ve believed you were, all the hurt, all the pain, depression, self doubt, low self esteem, addiction, not to mention the flesh itself;

and place them in the hands of not only another, but someone you’ve never laid eyes on, but have the faith to believe that He knows what’s best for you.

You said YES! Now allow God do the rest.

Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) say’s – Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

God is saying that He is the more then we could Ask or Think!

This may sound like a cliche’, but He really is the Super to our Natural.

So no matter how hard the flesh tries, and it will try to fight you, by telling you that nothing will come of this, that your life is fine just the way that it is, that all the pain and hurt you’ve experienced or bad decisions that you may have made can not be resolved in the next 36 days;

But I say, “Is anything to hard for the Lord?” No! He doesn’t need much time, He just needs a willing heart.

So I say, You stand flat footed against the enemy and declare that the victory belongs to God and Him alone.

And you will see the Glory of God!!!

    I am seeing God move already. It’s an awesome experience. I’m so excited to see all He does or says during this time of surrender.

  2. Preach! 🙂 Ephesians 3:20 is taking on a whole new meaning for me during this fast. Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you Jesus. I am claiming victory in Your name as I surrender to your will during this fast. Father thank you for the obedience of Dr. Celeste and The FBCG to bring this 40 Day Surrender Fast mainstream. Thank you for the teachings of Pastor John Jenkins. Father if little old me is under attack and it’s only been 4 days…I can’t imagine what the leaders of this fast are facing. Bless them Lord, surround them with holy people to keep them covered in prayer as you cover us all with the precious blood of Jesus. May this fast bring forth generals for the Lord’s army because this means war. In Jesus’ name, amen.

    The first few days of the fast was challenging. The devil was so busy. After yesterday’s prayer on the prayer line, i felt renewed. The next 35 days of this fast will be great. I can see changes. Whenever I’m tempted to do something, I always hear a voice telling me that it’s not God’s will. Yesterday especially. I’m so happy that I decided to do this.
    I woke up this morning and ran to the blog, But didn’t see a new post. But I read older postings and that alone was great. Thanks so Much Dr. Celeste and Stephanie. BTW, I’m a member of FBCG (April 19th was my baptism). There’s alot of changes happening in my life. I’ve been separated from relationships due to my walk with Christ. God will separate you to bring you closer to him.

    • Hello Kelly,

      Yes the prayer from Cousin Sonya was definitely renewing. Like yourself. I remember when I dedicated my life to the Lord, some friendships I had became obsolete; but I wouldn’t change my relationship with God for anything. I’m happy to hear that you’re being strengthened, and congratulations on your baptism. This Life is Good!!!
