Quick Tip Monday!!!
Still basking in the thrills of the Thanksgiving turkey?
Digging into the last of the holiday drippings?
Well, now that Thanksgiving has come and gone once again what’s next?
Here’s a few things you can do to get you prepared.
Thanksgiving may be over but I’m sure you can still think of a lot of reasons to be thankful.
You can also take this time to send out holiday cards to let someone know that you are thinking about them during this season.
Now would be a great time to put up the Christmas tree, decorate the house inside and out, and to hang the stockings from the fireplace.
Gather up all of your cookie and cake recipes and check to make sure you have everything you need to get started. Don’t have any recipes but would like to do a little baking? Search the internet for some of the holidays most famous cookie recipes.
Note: Don’t want to break the bank this year? Baking treats and putting them in cute little tins with a ribbon is a great way to show love, give a gift and save on your pockets.
Create a Scrapbook:
Taking pictures of family and friends, decorations and outside landscapes is a great way to build memories this holiday. For those family members that may not live near by, ask them to take pictures of different scenes and email the pics to be placed into the scrapbook.
Family Game Night:
Call up your friends and family and invite them over for a night of fun and games. Outdoor or Indoor just Get creative, have some prizes and don’t forget about the snacks.
Gather together some friends and family members for an afternoon of volunteering or donating some purchased or gently used items to those that are in need.
Whatever you decide to do this holiday season just remember to relax, have fun and enjoy every minute of it because it will be over before you know it.
