Let Go!

Good News Thursday!!!

To listen to this weeks song for meditation, Click on Love Me Too Much by Travis Greene

All these years I’ve believed that if I wanted something to happen, I basically had to fill in some of the gaps to see it all come together.

If I couldn’t do it then I’d find someone who could be of assistance.

If I didn’t have the money at the moment, I would borrow.

And if I couldn’t do anything about it, then I guess that just meant it wasn’t in God’s will. (Well how about that)

I have made a momentous discovery.

If I just let God have full control, He’ll work in a way I’ve never imagined could be possible.

It’s truly amazing what can happen when you decide to take the back seat and allow God to drive; you’ll discover some pretty incredible things.

First you’ll discover that God really has your best interest in mind.

He doesn’t just sit back and wait to see what you’ll do, but He does wait until you come to Him.

He loves each and every one of us so much and He desires to show us His strength in a great and mighty way.

He wants to do big things in our lives. He wants to be big in our lives.

He wants to be our God and he wants us to be his people.

The enemy has truly tried to pull the wool over our eyes.

He has tried to make us believe that the God we serve is not loving, in not kind or giving.

He has wanted us to think that God is overbearing and full of anger.

But today I can truly say that’s not the kind of God I serve.

The God I serve wants the best for me.

He wants to show me great and mighty things.

He wants to lavish me with all kinds of wonders.

Thank you Lord!!!!

The hardest part of surrender is letting go, but once you do you’ll see that God is truly intentional about you.

You’ll discover just how into you He really is.

The God we serve is worth serving and surrendering to.

Have you surrendered today?

How did I know I’ve surrendered ? I’ve prayed a few times but don’t feel or see anything different. Do I jut trust and do my best ? And I’m afraid he is going to make me homeless and jobless if I trust him with my life. Yes he could bless us all amazingly but doesn’t mean it happens. I’m trying my best to surrender and believe but it feels useless. Silence is all I get.

    • Hello Jonathan,

Great question! Surrender, like anything in God, requires faith. First, we must believe that God is real. Secondly, we must believe that He has a great plan for each and every one of us.
      (Jeremiah 29:11)

And thirdly, we must believe that what He said He’s going to do will come to pass.

From the moment we surrender to God, His intended plan for our lives is set in motion because we are now going in the right direction. That doesn’t mean that we won’t make mistakes along the way, it just means that He’ll direct us as we go.

Surrender is just the start. You’ll now have to walk out this journey that was created for you. Surrender is not a magic word you use to receive everything you’ve ever wanted instantaneously.

It’s a lifestyle that allows you to adopt Gods will for your will.

So in answer to your question, the way to know that you are surrendered, is when you trust and are willing to go through the process. Because remember, Surrendering is doing God’s will His way all the time.
