All these years I’ve believed that if I wanted something to happen, I basically had to fill in some of the gaps to see it all come together.
If I couldn’t do it then I’d find someone who could be of assistance.
If I didn’t have the money at the moment, I would borrow.
And if I couldn’t do anything about it, then I guess that just meant it wasn’t in God’s will. (Well how about that)
I have made a momentous discovery.
If I just let God have full control, He’ll work in a way I’ve never imagined could be possible.
It’s truly amazing what can happen when you decide to take the back seat and allow God to drive; you’ll discover some pretty incredible things.
First you’ll discover that God really has your best interest in mind.
He doesn’t just sit back and wait to see what you’ll do, but He does wait until you come to Him.
He loves each and every one of us so much and He desires to show us His strength in a great and mighty way.
He wants to do big things in our lives. He wants to be big in our lives.
He wants to be our God and he wants us to be his people.
The enemy has truly tried to pull the wool over our eyes.
He has tried to make us believe that the God we serve is not loving, in not kind or giving.
He has wanted us to think that God is overbearing and full of anger.
But today I can truly say that’s not the kind of God I serve.
The God I serve wants the best for me.
He wants to show me great and mighty things.
He wants to lavish me with all kinds of wonders.
Thank you Lord!!!!
The hardest part of surrender is letting go, but once you do you’ll see that God is truly intentional about you.
You’ll discover just how into you He really is.
The God we serve is worth serving and surrendering to.
Have you surrendered today?

Faith is defined as a…
Have you ever had to or are you trusting God for something that is so beyond belief that your psyche can’t even comprehend?
Now try telling someone else what God wants to do and watch the look of sheer bewilderment on there face.
Do you feel like your life is experiencing writers block?
Do you get the feeling that no matter how much you brainstorm, you still come up feeling helpless and empty?
If so, then here’s five tips to strengthen you through your journey while you wait.
Discouragement, Disbelief, and Hopelessness. In other words a lack of faith.
So I have a confession to make…I’m a night owl.
Personally I had always been fine with that. I’d stay up into the wee hours of the morning watching movies and then sleep until noon, sometimes 1pm. Upon awakening I would lounge in the bed, eventually get something to eat, do what I needed to do then start the same routine all over again. Ahh the life! Or so I thought.
The other day I had the pleasure of serving cupcakes to 16 kindergarteners as we celebrated my daughter Aaliyah’s 5th birthday. After the festivities had died down the teacher asked Aaliyah what she would like to be when she grows up.
I knew the answer and I sensed it wouldn’t go over very well.
Some of the kids laughed–Aaliyah looked at them puzzled–then the teacher quickly interjected, “and what else?”
And what else. Why does there need to be a something else?
Okay, sure, growing up to be a princess sounds pretty farfetched, but for Aaliyah that is her reality. And for reasons unknown to us she acts like a princess; she is ultra feminine. She insists on wearing skirts every day, she loves wearing lip gloss and nail polish, and she carries herself like a lady.
If Aaliyah can act like what she believes she will become, why can’t you? Continue reading
A little over a year ago I was diagnosed with both an aneurism and a blocked artery in my neck. I was told that the artery was 100% blocked. They instructed me to take an aspirin every day to keep the other artery in my neck from blocking.
So for the last year the doctor’s have been monitoring my condition. Two weeks ago I had yet another MRA. Today the doctor reported to me great news! First that the aneurism hasn’t grown any in over a years time and that both the arteries in my neck are plaque free! I could hardly contain myself in the doctor’s office. What a mighty God we serve.
We’ve been saying all year that this is the year of miracles and God has worked a miracle in my life. Thank you for your prayers. If you are believing God for anything, keep on believing!
