The Importance of Calcium!

Calcium plays an important role in muscle contraction, transmitting messages through the nerves, and the release of hormones. If people aren’t getting enough calcium in their diet, the body takes calcium from the bones to ensure normal cell function, which can lead to weakened bones.

Bones grow rapidly during our childhood years, so it’s important for us to get as much calcium as we can to prevent bone loss later.

In addition people who tend to smoke, drink soda, caffeinated beverages, or drink alcohol may lack calcium due to the fact that those substances interferes with the body and the way it absorbs and uses calcium.

I’ve heard someone say that too much laughter causes the early onset of wrinkles, but I say the more you laugh the better you feel: so laugh until your heart is content.

Did you ever consider how important it is to let loose and just enjoy a good chuckle?
