Increase Your Magnesium Intake – This Mineral is responsible for over 300 biochemical reactions in the body. That’s including the breakdown of glucose in energy. States, Samantha Heller a Nutritionist from NY State University.

Recommended daily intake is 300 milligrams. 350 milligrams for women.

Adding a handful of almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, or eating more fish such as halibut, and increasing your whole grain and bran cereal intake should give you an extra boost.

Take A Walk – Experts say that increasing your physical activity equals an increase in energy. So, take a 10 minute walk around your block.

It’s takes a willing heart to releases the reigns of your life, all you’ve believed you were, all the hurt, all the pain, depression, self doubt, low self esteem, addiction, not to mention the flesh itself;

and place them in the hands of not only another, but someone you’ve never laid eyes on, but have the faith to believe that He knows what’s best for you.

Every Ending is Just a NEW BEGINNING — Join us for Cycle 8 of Surrender Fast 2014

A New Beginning happens when you are emotionally ready to act and think in a whole new way. It’s when you make a conscious decision to part with the old and begin anew from a place of peace and fearlessness.

A New Beginning is different from a Start. A Start can occur quickly sometimes without much warning and/or mental preparation.

For example, the Start of 1st grade was rough for me; I cried every day after lunch for at least 3 months straight. One day our class had substitute teacher who was so great I forgot to cry. My classmates quickly pointed out my oversight. Surprised, I thought about crying just because, but then I purposed in my little 6-year-old heart that I would not cry again. And I didn’t for the rest of the year.

That day I began again; I ended my cycle of fear and embraced my New Beginning with hope in my heart.

So are you at the Start or a New Beginning?

You can START a diet but a NEW BEGINNING occurs when the diet becomes a lifestyle.

You can START classes but the NEW BEGINNING comes when you decide that nothing short of a degree is an option.

You can START a book/business/ministry, etc. but a NEW BEGINNING occurs when abstract becomes a reality.

Whether you are stalling at the start line or at the precipice of your New Beginning, Cycle 8 of Surrender Fast 2014 is for you!

God is going to show up in an unusual way and speak LIFE. I am expecting sign, miracles, and wonders. I am also expecting New Beginnings for our spirits, mentality, physical bodies,  marriages, relationships, businesses, and ministries.

Will You Keep It?

Here’s the million dollar question. Will you continue to surrender the thing you gave over to God during Cycle 6?

I didn’t make this public–because I wasn’t sure how it would sound– but for Cycle 6 I surrendered my body to my husband. It’s not what you think. LOL. In fact, it wasn’t what I thought. But as we fasted God showed me what surrendering my body REALLY looked like. Continue reading

Week 2 of Cycle 6: Here Come the Men!

We are pleased to announce that Cycle 6 has brought record number of men!!!

Earlier this year Terry Lighty, Min. Vincent Briscoe, and Min. Warren Sims each started to pray that more men join the fast. They know first hand the power of surrender and wanted other men to be part of the movement. Well it’s awesome to witness those seeds bearing fruit.

Cycle 6 Starts Today!!!

Welcome to Cycle 6 of Surrender Fast 2013! Today marks the first day of our 40 days of surrender.

I am excited for what God is doing now and will do for you in the days to come. Expect Him everyday: look for Him around every corner, hear Him speak out of the mouth of babes and strangers,  believe that He wants to do something new in you!

Our theme this cycle is: “Filled to the FULL: The Keys for Living a PowerFULL, GraceFULL, and FavorFULL Life.” I am determined in the next six weeks to walk in the power and authority that is my right as a child of the Most High God.

Paul spoke about this in Ephesians 3:17b-19. He wrote,And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
