FORGIVENESS can look and sometimes be an overwhelmingly hard thing to do. Especially the kind that has festered for weeks, months, or years.
To forgive or not to forgive can feel like an emotional roller coaster ride. On one hand you feel like I have a right to be upset and then on the other you know it’s not always worth the time and energy it takes to maintain that level of anger against someone.
As I was watched Dr. Owens minister about the importance of health Tuesday night at The First Baptist Church of Glenarden, she made a profound statement. She said that sickness could be a product of unforgiveness. WOW! That was truly one of those statements that stops you in your tracks and causes you to meditate; a “Selah” moment indeed.
