Here’s an oldie but goody on the importance of purposeful breathing. Enjoy!
Breathe…Deeply…inhale through your nose counting 1…2…3…4…5, and exhale though your mouth counting 5…4…3…2…1, pause for 3 seconds, and begin again.

Here’s how Merriam-Webster defines breathe: to move air into and out of your lungs: to inhale and exhale through your mouth or nose.
How do you start your day?
Perhaps you start by thanking God for a new day, do a little reading and meditation on the Word of God, but do you include breathing as part of your routine? Not the shallow breathing that most people do all day, but that Intentional, Purposeful, Focused breathing that is necessary; the kind of breathing that goes to the abdominal region and wakes you from the inside out.
