A Surrender to Prayer

Happy Thursday!

So, I happened to come across a video tape the other day and I was very disturbed after viewing this video to say the least.

Okay, I literally balled my eyes out. It was a tape of a young women being physically harassed by several other young women. I usually don’t click into those kinds of videos, and for good reason.

But after looking at this video I was troubled most because while all this was happening, everyone just seemed to have there phones on video, taping. NO one seemed remotely moved that this was someones daughter, sister, cousin, friend, or neighbor.

Even if that didn’t cross their minds, the fact that she is a human being should have provoked some type of emotion. Well it did seem to incite them, but that’s not the emotion I was quite expecting or looking for. Continue reading

Are You a Promise Keeper?

Hello Surrender Fasters, you’ve made it to Week 3 of Cycle 6. What an accomplishment.

Don’t turn back, you’ve come too far and your best is yet to come. So keep on surrendering!

On the Morning Prayer Calls we’ve been learning that the key to being filled to the full with God is to first be emptied: of pride (Week 1) , anxiety about trials (Week 2), and broken promises (Week 3).

Have you made any promises to God that you haven’t kept? Well now is the time to CONFESS, REPENT, and DECIDE to keep, from now on, the promises you make to Him. Your destiny depends on it! Continue reading
