Today starts Day 1 of the Oprah & Deepak 21-Day Meditation Challenge. The welcome letter stated, “Miracles happen every day…we’re too busy or rushed to notice.” That opened my eyes and I instantly noticed a miracle that I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise.
This morning my son wanted cheese toast for breakfast, but we were out of his beloved potato bread. I decided to make his toast with my Ezekiel (Ew Ma that’s healthy) English Muffin. His reaction? “This is good.” His sister, more of a potato bread lover then he, gobbled it up as well. Miracles really do happen everyday!
What miracles are you missing because you’re too busy or too distracted to notice? Miracles are always present. Today purpose in your spirit to be open to the presence of miracles and watch them show up out as they always do.
Let me know what you notice today.
With God all things are possible,

“I will not work today!” were the words spoken by Tanya Blount Trotter just hours before her miracle showed up in the form of a man that had a connection to a radio station she and her husband Michael Trotter Jr. had been desiring to find an “in” to for some time.
I heard her share this powerful testimony on the i Pray 365 Project this morning and it was just what I needed to hear. Today I rose with “works” all in my spirit. The minute I opened my eyes I was consumed with the tasks that I needed to do to move the ministry forward. Sadly, I couldn’t even concentrate my devotions because so many “works” were calling my name.
In the midst of all that I heard the Spirit say call into the prayer line. And thanks be to God He used Tanya to remind me that God is the almighty creator. His dreams for my life are coming to pass. The right people and the right breaks are in my future. I don’t have to worry, I don’t have to work. He has it all taken care of! Continue reading
Surrender is the act of giving oneself over to the power of another. Not a position many of us want to be in however, in the spiritual realm a full surrender is necessary.
Do you want to prosper in the things of God? Surrender.
Want to live out your purpose and fulfill God’s plan in the land of milk and honey? Surrender.
“Surrender advances you” is a powerful statement made by my friend and destiny partner Pastor Deborah Evans, Certified Life Coach.
Do you hear that? When you give up YOUR way, YOUR rights, and YOUR selfishness, you GAIN God’s grace, forgiveness, power and grace to live the abundant life He intended for you since the beginning. In other word, you advance. Continue reading

All week I will be hanging out with Pastors Mike and Tanya Trotter on the iPray Project discussing The Power of Purging. This morning I gave the back story behind the Surrender Fast.
In 2010 God called me to leave all that I knew, everything that gave me a sense of fulfillment, to be home with Him. I wasn’t a happy camper, but God had a plan. During that time He purged me of wrong behaviors and thoughts that were keeping me stuck. When His work was done, He moved me forward with a little book called The 40-Day Surrender Fast under my belt.
This year–2013–feels like a repeat of 2010. I sensed in my spirit that God was about to do something amazing, but first He needed to purge me of some wrong behaviors and thoughts that were holding me back from fulfilling His awesome plan. Continue reading
